Seascapes
Sixteen seascapes at blue hour and beyond, painted for weather and what it carries. The sky is given as much attention as the water: rose piers at dusk, an amber harbour holding still, a red sail slipping past, breakers rolling into pebbles, gulls at the tideline, a moon over the shingle. The palette holds to blues and paper whites, and the wave crests do most of the drawing. Most canvases are oil on canvas at collection scale, a few in acrylic, most signed at the lower right. Frames, when fitted, are simple wood. Anahita works from memory as much as observation.
