About this work
The eye is pulled straight to the far shore, where a Venetian-style skyline of domes, a slim campanile and low buildings sits at the meeting of sea and sky. Anahita lays down long horizontal drags of teal that give way to a warm orange along the horizon, and a bright column of light falls onto the water like a path. There is a sense of arrival about it, of coming into a familiar harbour at the softest hour.
