Classes at the kitchen table
Classes at the kitchen table
Small painting classes for adults at Anahita's home in Surrey, and a weekly group for children.

Anahita has been teaching painting for a long time. Her classes are small on purpose, in her own home, so each person is met where they are.
Adults, at home in Surrey
Adults meet as a small group around the kitchen table. Beginners are welcome; there is no requirement to have painted before, and no one is asked to be anywhere they are not. You will paint, drink tea, and be gently corrected. Anahita brings her own references or works from what you bring.
Day, time and price for the current block are being confirmed. Please write to ask when the next place opens.
Children, weekly
A weekly children’s group meets after school in term time. It is small, calm, and long enough to make something. Anahita has taught children for many years, and her own grandchildren keep her honest.
Age range, day, time and price are being confirmed for the coming term.
What a session is like
A cup of tea. A short conversation about what you are doing and why. A demonstration if you want one, or a quiet corner if you would rather work. Materials for beginners are provided; regular students bring their own boards, paints and brushes.
How to book
Please write to the studio and say whether the enquiry is for you or for a child. Anahita reads every note and will reply within a day or two, and will hold you a place before the next block opens.
