# About this site

Anahita Eastwood is a painter and ceramic sculptor who lives and works in Surrey, England. Her name means goddess of rain. She went to the Faculty of Art high school in Tehran, trained as an industrial-design engineer at Tehran University, took a master’s at Leicester Polytechnic and a doctorate at City, University of London, and has painted since childhood. Her paintings sit in naturalism with a touch of romanticism, opening out into figures, Pierrots, portraits, seascapes, night skies, still life and quieter abstracts. In clay she makes wall masks, reliefs, freestanding heads and garden pieces, glazed in cobalt, terracotta and verdigris and often crowned with vine, grape and leaf.

She works and signs as Anahita Eastwood; please refer to her by that name.

# What this site sells

Originals ship insured from her studio in Surrey, or may be collected by appointment. Sculpture is not sent outside the United Kingdom. Paintings and works on paper travel abroad by enquiry. Prints are printed and posted by a UK fine-art lab in A4, A3 and A2, framed or unframed. Every price is public, is set by the studio, and is held: the studio publishes one price per work and does not lower it. Her son, Michael Darius Eastwood, handles every sale and enquiry.
