About this work
A quiet coastal watercolour, painted with the water still moving on the paper. The cliff behind the houses catches a wash of yellow, apricot and lilac while the little whitewashed roofs hold the light along the shore. Notice the two or three tiny figures walking the wet sand and how the reflection at the foot of the picture opens the whole bay out. Anahita signs it softly in the lower left.
