About this work
A quiet page from the studio. The bodies flow into one another, one reclining across the middle, another seated behind, a curled figure below. Anahita is thinking in line here, letting the pencil find the weight of a hip or the turn of a shoulder before any wash arrives. Look for the small pale grey shadows that carry the volume.
