Heads and busts

Freestanding sculpted heads and half-figures, meant to be walked around. Flower crowns, painted glazes and quiet expressions.

The freestanding pieces are the most demanding to make and the most rewarding to live with. Anahita models these in the round from life, memory and imagination, then finishes them with a crown of pressed flowers, vine leaves or grapes and glazes them to catch the light from every side.

Ceramic, hand-finished, sometimes highlighted with paint after firing. Prices reflect the additional modelling: freestanding heads sit above the mask tariff.
