About this work
This is a quiet, traditional still life in the style Anahita loves most: a plain pot, one big handful of flowers, and cloth folded behind. Notice how the vase is painted as if it were a portrait sitter, given weight and reflection before any petals are added. The daisies open in rhythm across the middle, and the pink flowers at the sides keep the whole picture from becoming only yellow and green.
